Ahhh the cold! Ain't it thrillin'?!!!
I was doing pretty good for a bit on the eating right and actually exercising a little while back, like when I wrote the last post. =0) Now however, I am back to hoping I might get some self-control and be able to eat right and feel the need to exercise again. I did just get done walking with Gabby and Zaidy, but it was only for 30 minutes. On Monday I did run about 3 laps, well more like run for a bit, then walk a bit and so on. =0) I woke up Tuesday morning early, and went for a 30 minute walk with Zaidy, while Clay watched Gabby. =0) She didn't go back to sleep so they were both wide awake when I got back. Ha ha!!! Woke up Thursday morning to rain, and then yesterday too, so I didn't get out and do anything either day. Stinks too, because I ate and ate both days for whatever reason. All I want to do is eat now a days, and it is the worst food imaginable too. So...Clay and I have decided that we need to help each other get going, and not just him helping me. So we'll see how that goes. Hope everyone else is doing fabulous!!!

Jogging
As soon as I decide to stop worrying about my weight - I feel humongous and get all stressed out about it again. Or, I think about acting again and not only do I feel huge but I also get worried about cutting my hair. Isn't that silly?
I hear you about finding a jogging stroller. I don't want a piece of crap, but I want one cheap. Seems like it has to be both, cheap and crap. :) I'm still looking though, every morning - that's how you find the deals.
Anyhow, still hanging onto some weight, what is really upsetting is how jiggly everything is. All of my muscle, and I mean ALL of it, is gone, gone, gone. There's no chance of getting it back anytime soon either, jogging is my only hope.
As far as eating goes...well, I'm good at it. Still trying to get a grip on that. It's hard (REALLY HARD) to go from eating the way you do when you're pregnant, to eating the way you should when you're not. Maybe it's just me, maybe it's first baby, but hopefully I can keep hold of the reigns next time around. I think I understand Kerriann's goals to lose weight before getting pregnant. It's hard to get rid of it once it's there. Why can't I have Brian's metabolism and determination (hard-headedness...)???

So....
I figure since nobody besides Katie and I, are going to use this blog, I'm going to start posting to it like I do on our family blog. =0) I have been looking at awesome jogging strollers and so far have not been able to find one cheaper than a $100, that isn't already used. I've checked Craig's list and all, but ya know, I don't know why I'm worried about it. We can't afford one for a long time any ways. So I thought, hummm, maybe a bike then. I did find a couple that were really great deals, but once again I've come to the conclusion that we can't afford it. I seriously dislike money. It annoys the mess out of me when we have none and then we do have some, I go crazy. Ay! Stress is such a pain, and yet I know that if I just exercise and eat right I'd feel a lot better, but all I want to do is curl up into a ball and do nothing, but sleep or eat. I know that is why I'm getting fatter, even though today I felt very productive, even with the weather being so dreary. =0) How are y'all doing with the exercise?? Wouldn't this stroller be awesome to have?? Guess how much it is?? Oh, only $349! Lovely huh?!

Yay!!
Well, I decided to start counting calories again, especially since I got up to 169 a week ago. I am back down to 164, which could just be water weight or the time of day that I weighed, but still, I think I'll stick with walking and calorie counting. Yay!!! How is everyone else doing?? It seems to just be Katie and I posting to this. I know Kerriann and Erin, you guys are pregnant, but that doesn't mean you can't exercise a little!! =0) Love y'all!!!

Nice chilly walk anyone??
Well here is a picture of Gabby all bundled up for our walk yesterday. We went out twice and this is our first walk. On the stroller I have this plastic cover that isn't on right now, but it is supposed to protect against rain and cold, and let me tell you, it does. I put it down after the picture and when we got back, she was a little rosy cheeked because it had gotten so warm inside. =0) The second walk was spent with Aunt Sonja, and was a blast. She brought her little "hot dog", Pixie, and we wore her out pretty good. I attempted running today. I ran two laps and then walked two, so all in all it was about a 1 and a 1/4 mile. It felt really good and I'm hoping to keep it up every day to help get off all of the lovely extra extra weight that is weighing me down. He he!! How is everyone else doing?? Once again, Congratulations Kerriann!!! I am so excited for ya!!! =0)

Yay for new tennis shoes and cool weather!
So I have been walking everyday this week with Gabby and Zaidy for an hour. We are all pooped when we are done, but hey, I was not getting anywhere when I would only walk like 30 minutes. I decided that I finally need to at least put in a good hour of some sort of exercise a day and with the cool weather, why not walking?!! =0) I have put back on all of the weight I had lost, I know, oreos are way too good. he he!! So here we go again with a new diet and exercise plan. Let's hope it works longer than two weeks!! How is everyone else doing?? I know Kerri and Erin, you guys have those lovely treadmills, how has the walking been?? Katie have you made it down the trail running anymore?? Molly and Mom, have you guys been able to do anything besides eating healthy?? I hope we can keep this blog going, y'all don't know how much it helps to read about how all of you are doing with your healthy lifestyles. Love y'all!!!

Sorry so slack
Yeah I have been very slack on the blog and the weight. I am steady on 13lb loss and holding strong. I have not gotten on the tread mill in a long time. My sneakers are tore up real bad and hurt my feet to even walk around in them. Yes, I know I must get new sneakers but it's a chore and a long drawn out decision of style and comfort all together I will eventually figure it out for now the tread mill has to wait. Well I guess I need to update my other blog so off I go. Love you guys

Love the Fall!
Gabby, Zaidy and I have been going on a walk everyday this week and have been loving each one. My new tennis shoes are awesome and my feet only hurt after I have taken them off. I know they shouldn't be hurting at all, but I'm sure the extra 40 lbs doesn't help much with that. I was thinking today in the shower how I have been carrying all of this extra weight around for almost 20 months so no wonder my body is aching or sore after a work out or after doing nothing. He he!! =0) It makes me a little mad that I haven't gotten all of it off and here Gabby is going to be a year old in a month. Ay!! Well, any hoot, how is everyone else doing?? How is the treadmill going Kerri and Erin? How about your running Katie?? I know your busy Mom and Molly, so how is whatever you are squeezing in coming? Love y'all!!

New Shoes!!
So I took the tennis shoes I had bought last Friday back to Kohl's and they actually took them back without any question. =0) That was my fear! Silly I know! Well, on Wednesday I decided to finally go and try on shoes! Yuck! I went to three different stores. =0) I tried on all that Shoe Carnival shoes had, nothing, tried on the only pair they had at Tj Max, nothing, then went to Rack Room shoes and tried on the only pair of Adidas they had that were perfect! So now I just need to get my butt out and run. Unfortunately it has been rainy since Wednesday night so that hasn't happened! Ay!! How is everyone else doing???

Yay for not eating...He he!!
Well, I have some really great news and I am hoping I do not jinx it by writing about it now. Fingers crossed!! =0) I have lost 3 lbs since last Thursday! Cool Huh?!! I know it is silly but I bought that juice that they advertise as the miracle weight loss drink for the stars, or whatever it is and started it on Thursday. What I did though, was I drank that for breakfast and lunch, instead of the whole day and had dinner. Then on Friday, I did a repeat and I bet if I had stuck with the program (which was to only drink that for 48 hours) both days I would have lost more, but I was way too hungry both nights, and though, hey if I want to keep it off I need to be reasonable and eat a little. =0) So, ever since then I have gone from 166.8 to 163.4. I have been eating normal since Saturday, but now my portions are much smaller and I do not binge. =0) Isn't that great. So now I'm just hoping to keep the momentum going!! How is everyone else doing?? Love y'all!!! By the way, the computer is finally up and running and I'm so excited to get see you, Katie and Brian and Galina on the web cam!!! =0)

All Clear
I had my six week check-up on Friday. Well, everything is back to normal and I guess I'm cleard to exercise. The doc never said anything, actually, and I forgot to ask. I'll assume that since she said I was normal that I'm good to go. Darn. I was hoping she would look at me, alarmed, and say, "You should not ever exercise again!" That won't happen, ever. Ho, hum, back to the daily grind.

How fun is jogging? =0)
Well, since last Wednesday I have been trying to really eat right and actually exercise. After I went jogging on Thursday I lifted weights on Friday. Saturday and Sunday I didn't do anything! Oops! =0) Monday got away from me too which I was really bummed about. I went jogging on Tuesday and I lifted weights on Wednesday. I didn't get to go jogging last night because I had to go help Clay out at work until 7pm and we didn't get home and done eating until 8pm and then it was too late. I feel good, but I made cupcakes yesterday (bad idea) and ate 4 through out the day. Isn't that horrible. I had 2 for breakfast this morning so now I need to lift weights and run today like a million times!! =0) How is everyone else doing??? Love y'all!!

Boxing
No, not boxing up maternity clothes (which I finally did today) but boxing with two guys pounding each other for no reason. That's all Brian is interested in with the Olympics. But I managed to watch a bit of swimming - which seems to be all that is on in Hawaii - and some gymnastics. I think I am inspired, but beyond feeling inspired...maybe not. I'd like to go jogging. My discharge papers said I could jog at 4 weeks, but I'm waiting until 6 weeks. Only two more to go...I don't know if it's what is doing it, but everyone says that Breastfeeding helps you to lose weight - maybe that's what's doing it. Of course, it would be nice if breastfeeding would replace fat with muscle :) Oops, baby is up - gotta go, I'll post more later! Love ya'll!
The Tread Mill Trend
So I guess I started a trend. Everyone is getting a tread mill. Erin and Jason just got one and I think you mom is getting one, if she hasn't already. Well I went to the doctors yesterday and lost 9 lbs. YEAH go me...I need to now lose 25 lbs to be where I was when I get pregnant with Julia, which is my goal or at least 5 lbs within that number range. Well the tread mill seams to be working for me, so I definitely recommend it, especially with the Fall coming and (work starting for some of you) Well I guess Katie is the only one who will have great weather all year round lucky her, Well keep up the good work girls. Love Ya

Jogging anyone!! =0)
So this morning Clay was off until 2pm and Gabby had a doctor's appointment at 11:30am. So I got up at 9am and decided to finally exercise. I took Zaidy with me for the first 3 laps and then did two without her. I walked the first, ran the second, walked the third, ran the 4th and walked the fifth. It was great. Then when I got back to the house, Clay and Gabby were still sleeping so I worked in the garden. I finally pulled all of the evil weeds that had tried to take it over out. It looks alright now, but boy is it a pain to keep up with. I haven't tackled the front with the sunflowers yet, but I hope to get to it tomorrow. Eating has been alright too. I unfortunately ate a brownie before I left to run, but when I got back I had a small bowl of cheerios and then for a lunch, you'll love this Molls, a salad. It was pretty good too. I did have a brownie after awhile, it looked to good. =0) Dinner was good, a hamburger and chips. Plus I have only been drinking water the past couple of days, finally getting rid of the soda craving. He he!! How is everyone else doing? =0) Watching the Olympics has inspired me to change our exercise blog to this background, maybe so we can get some inspiration to get in shape. He he!!! Love y'all!

I can't get into the swing of things!
I don't know what my problem is...but I just can't get into working out :( I know when work and school start back up it's gonna be even more difficult so I'm gonna really try to get into it the next two weeks, maybe then it won't be so hard to keep up. I think I will go running in the mornings and do some kind of arm and ab work out in the evenings...maybe that will work. So how's everybody else doing with their regimes? (sp?) Hope you all are good! Love you!

Well....you guys are definitely what I needed to read!!
Seriously, I am so glad I got on and you guys had posted today. =0) Unfortunately I got a virus on the home computer so I have to wait for Clay to get home to get on the laptop, and so it stinks not being able to get on until late. I got up this morning and finally weighed myself after a week of not wanting to do so, and I have gained two pounds, so I wanted to cry. I decided that today was definitely the day to get up and start eating right first. I fought with myself over getting KFC for lunch, and thankfully I did not give in. =0) I still came home and had mac-n-cheese, but hey, it's better than the fries, right? =0) So I hope you guys keep posting, so I can at least remember that I'm not alone at this. Molly, you still look tiny no matter how much you say you weight. =0) Love y'all!!!
Salad...yum!
So, I know that you guys think I don't look like I need to diet...but like I tell Nick I am 5'2" and I weigh 135!!! Katie weighed that when she was in college....and she's 5'10''!!! So, yeah I ate ceasar salad today with croutons for lunch and it was really yummy! I think when work starts up I will be bringing healthy lunches to school...do you guys have any suggestions? I know salad is good but what else would be fulfilling and healthy? Anyways, I haven't gotten into running with Nick yet, he doesn't think getting up around 6 am is good, but it seems like the best time here in humid NC. Anyways...love you all! Keep up the exercises!

On My Own
So, I ventured out on a walk yesterday morning with the boys and the baby. Brian was at work already. Probably won't be doing that again any time soon. Galina cried most of the way so I had to pick her up, thought she was hot, took off everything but the onesie, still cried. Carried her all the way home, had to pick up poo that was not solid. Good thing the boys are trained to walk with me without leashes because holding Galina and pushing the cadillac stroller left little room to hold leashes. So, I'm carrying Galina, trying to get home without tripping and falling or melting (it was hot) and it started raining on us. Fortunately it didn't pour until we got into the house - in a week I'll be able to start jogging, that's not going to happen unless Brian is home :)
Hello Where is Everybody?
OK girls how come I'm the only one posting...OH I know why because I'm the only one exercising....Hey Katie is the only one with an excuse..Anyway I got on the tread mill today and walked/ran a little over a mile in 17 minutes. Hey I went a mile in a half hour last week. Also, I have moved my walking speed from 2.5 to 3.7 and my running speed from 4.0 to 4.3. I feel like I am making much inprovements. Also, I called Johnny when I got off because I felt like my work out was really hard today for some reason, and noticed the incline on the tread mill was moved to the greatest incline it could go, UP HILL. Well anyway it wasn't him. Sunday Jason and Lil Jason were messing with it wasn't that nice of them. I think I'm going to keep it there. Well I do have to say I do miss you now Katie everytime I get on the treed mill I think about our walks when you were hear. Oh well fun times love ya guys Kerriann

Well I found you again!!
Hey girls I'm back I am going ot try really hard to do this. I walk the tread mill every other day for about a mile. I should get better but you know how that goes. Also, I am not putting a weight ticker by my name. Not until I lose enough weight. Love ya glad I'm back Kerriann
Hello Again Girls
Well I have finally found you again. I am having OK success with the tread mill. I get on about every other day I wish it was more. The girls keep me very busy. I am still new with this blog thing and will try to be better at it. So we'll see. Also, there is no way I am putting a weight ticker by my name. I am way to fat for that right now. Love Ya, Kerriann

Something new to try!
I found this cool site on one of my friends blogs that actually has a ticker for weight loss. I put mine up, I figured that would be a cool new booster. Anyone else want to put their's up? Here is the website and all ya have to do is copy the code for the blog, open an element in the side column, paste it and tada!! =0) Love y'all!! I have a long way to go!

My new exercise regime
Well, instead of 3 walks a day, my new exercise routine consists of sitting down, standing, balancing myself on the toilet, holding my arms out away from my chest because it is so SORE, and cradling little Galina. Isn't that inspiring to all of you!?
Hopefully it won't be long until my swelling is gone - doesn't seem to be disappearing as fast as I had hoped it would - and I never thought my stomach could be so jiggly-wiggly!! Who knew? I'm hoping that won't take forever to disappear either, but I'm a little bit less hopeful about that, the swelling would be nice to lose.
Well, off to eat dinner - I wish I could tell you, Emily, how to make food matter less :) I'm afraid it's pretty important to me right now, I just made chocolate chip cookies!
Love ya'll!

Brian is an exercise freak :)
Ok...so Mom and I said we would be working out with Brian while we were here...who knew that it would mean that every day Brian would guilt us into some kind of exercise :) Anyways...if you have any questions about exercising...ask Brian!!! He knows his stuff...I have gone running with him a few times and who expected lunges to be so hard?!

Well...
I think I have exercised enough thinking about how Galina needs to go ahead and come. =0) I hope she gets there soon so Molly and Mom can have time with all three of them instead of poor Katie being all swollen and really wanting her body back. =0) I haven't been able to get my butt going out the door to exercise in weeks it seems. I did buy the Biggest Looser first season book and it has a lot of great advice. It was on sale at Food Lion. =0) I need to get back into a mind set of food not really mattering and activity being the most important thing ever. Help??!!! I hope everyone hasn't ditched this blog. It seems no one has anything to say anymore. Kerriann, how is the treadmill going? I meant to ask you that yesterday when you guys were up here. How is everyone else doing with their diets (if your on one) and exercising??? Love y'all!!!

Patriotism anyone!
I thought in light of the coming holiday I'd change up our blog. If anyone minds then tell it to the country. =0) He he!! Love y'all!!
Pool Time!!
So the lovely nieces and nephew are in town, right? =0) Well, today Sonja and I got the opportunity to take them to the Gold's gym pool. Sister Valulius at church has a membership there and helped to get us in for free. =0) It was pretty fun too. We got there at noonish and I didn't leave with two of them, Miranda and Dallas until 5pm when I finally asked if they were ready and they said yes. Gabby and I were done in the pool by 3pm, but I didn't want to yank the kids away from the new friends they had made. Sonja took Ariel and Phil home though at 3pm so they both could get ready for tomorrow and for their big dinner tonight. =0) We had fun, but I didn't get in as much exercise as I wanted. Actually all Gabby and I did was sit in the shallow end of the pool and splash a bit. She didn't like the water at first and did her whine, but the water was pretty warm in the shallow so she got used to it after awhile and played in it. =0) Yipee!!! Love y'all. Here are some pictures of us hanging out with Aunt Sonja and Ariel in the pool and after we were done swimming. Unfortunately I haven't quiet learned how to snap pictures with the sun out and as you can see the pool water is white. Ay!!!

Diamond Head Crater
So, you can't really tell, but we are 760 feet up...from the inside of the crater which was about 200 feet above sea level. It was a long trip up the side of the crater and a lot of stairs!

Lovely outdoor activity
We went to Baltimore on Friday and both Clay and I agree that we lost all possible water weight. while walking around the park at the BMX tour on Friday and Saturday. =0) It was fun though. I did weed eat yesterday and I am considering that exercise. =0) We also did a crazy thing yesterday and bought a Wii. We've only played Zelda so far, which Molly I so thought of you. I'll bring it to jville if anyone wants to try it. =0) It's really cool. My eating habits have not been all that great, simply because I made chocolate chip cookies on Monday to give to Diogo, the BMX rider and I kept some for us. Bad idea. I had them for breakfast yesterday and then for a after lunch snack and then a bedtime snack too. I've probably gained ten pounds just from doing that. How is everyone's exercising regimen going or diet, whichever??? Love y'all!

Sassy Sunglasses
Well needless to say Mom and I are in HI! And we will begin working out on Monday with Brian...hee hee! He's gonna hold us to it I'm sure :) Anyways...here's a cute picture we took at the Kailua beach today :)

Well.....
About this exercising thing. It stinks that ya can't get away doing it only once or twice a week. I've been trying to watch what I eat, but I do not get outside like I should and therefore I am always bummed about my weight. I guess it doesn't help when your hubby only has to eat right to loose weight. Which we have decided we are both going to do if for anything to help him get off the belly fat. Working at Clayton has made him realize how easy going to school had been. He he!! By the way, anyone want some kittens?? Clay and some other co-workers found two tiny tiny kittens left in a repo that came into the lot today. They are super cute but very malnourished. It seems they have had no food since last Thursday. I brought them some this morning and they ate for close to 10 minutes. I then cleaned them up and stuck them back in the cat carrier at Clayton. They are there now and I guess if nowhere will take them they are headed to Bonnie and Barry's until we find a home for them. Ay!! I would love to keep them, but not in this tiny place. Our house would be smelling like a litter box in two days rather than 4. He he!! Let me know if any of you guys know of anyone that would like them. One is the color of our mommy kitty and the other is black and white. They are super fluffy too. =0) Love y'all!!
It's Molly!
Well, I finally found the e-mail about 5 pages back in my hotmail :) I get so much junk mail in that thing that I dread having to check it! Father's Day was pretty awsome, I hope Dad is doing okay on the road right now...he's been on for about 5 hours now. Okay, I just wanted to say hi...I'm here :) Love ya'll!

Morning Walks
Well, went on a walk this morning with the dogs and with a sister from church and her four kids. That was fun. We just went down to the beach and walked along the shore. There were tons of jellyfish on the shore, man-of-wars too...they're tiny and they can still sting even though they are dead, and it's a painful sting. But the boys had fun on the beach. They have a false sense of confidence with the ocean though, Bing tries to run out into the water, but this isn't a normal beach and it scares me. This beach has an incredible undertow and the shore is all rocks, not soft sand. So they are allowed to play in the pools, but not go swimming. I think tomorrow we will take them to a beach they can swim at, because apparently they want to give it a shot! So it was a nice walk, a lot of talking - and not just me, like it is with Brian :) Anyhow, she and a few other sisters are planning a shower for me, crazy, for next Friday I believe - not sure about that yet, and apparently they've already sent invitations. She told me what they were planning, they're going to put $ together to buy me a swing for the baby. I'm grateful they feel like doing this for me, makes me feel a lot humbled...

Hot Tamale!
I wish we could pack up and go to a pool right now in this heat like you Katie. You are soooo lucky. =0) We have stayed in these past couple of days and unfortunately my exercising has fallen by the way side. I have no desire to do it at all with the heat up so high. I walk out and immediately break a sweat. I know I should be doing some of my videos however Gabby does not like to cooperate if she is awake when I try to do one. I know I have no excuse since I could get up at the crack of dawn and do it, or even late at night. =0) What fun!! I have been eating better though, trying not to indulge in seconds. he he!! They are the best though. This one sister in the ward told us of a great place that you can get a membership for the family really cheap to a pool. Guess how much that membership was?? Not cheap! It was $434 for two adults and two children. I don't think that sounds all that great. Maybe for the rich doctors in town it's great, but not us poor folk. =0) Any advice for getting up and moving, besides thinking of myself getting fatter by the minute? He he! Love y'all!!

Reality
So, it hit me, I'm not eating very well. Every time I go to the store, it seems like I come home with a lot of junk food. I'm eating veggies and fruit, but also eating just as much chocolate and chips. No wonder I've gained as much as I have, and even though I tell myself, "oh well" when I eat the junk, I know I'm going to regret it once I have the baby and don't autmatically fit into my old jeans. What am I going to wear? Maternity clothes for months I guess. I keep imagining that I'll go running and exercise, but in reality - if I'm breastfeeding I don't think I'll have hours to devote to exercise, at least not for quite some time. Great. Maybe I'll be back to normal size by the time we come home in December for a week, that'll be my goal - back to my prepregnancy weight by December. That's realistic right?

Finally
I made it to the pool - FINALLY! I went by myself too! I swam for almost 45 minutes, well I did laps on my back one way and then on my stomach doing the side-stroke (the only one I know) on the way back. I had fun. The pool doesn't open until 1 and I got there right at 1, so it was empty, but by 2 - it was packed with kids. I had to get out because there were so many and I can't just hang out in the deep end - neither can the little kids... At least they don't make me take a deep-end swimming test...I'd probably fail, you have to tread water for two minutes. That may not happen these days. But my ankles really did go down as soon as I got in the pool. Didn't help my wrist and fingers, but my ankles are down! Yay! So I swam, and I'm going to try desperately to make it a daily habit, that will be my outing instead of going to the store...hey, maybe we'll save money!

Day three in the House
Well today is day 3 on trying to keep Ella in the house. So far so good. good thing Emma has been here to keep Julia busy. I think Ella will be able to go out on Monday. She is doing well last night she had tylenol at bed and she actually slept in her bed all night. (first time in a long time) today she has had no tylenol but is eating and drinking very little. She and Emma had some ice-cream at 9:30am (sorry Erin) she is on the couch now whileJulia and Emma play in our blow up pool. As far as exercise goes I rearanged my sewing room and bedroom yesterday and was shot by 9:30pm. (Plus I had Dharian, Brodeigha dn Emma all day) I told John I am making room for the treed mill. I did check craigs list for one but they were all the same price as a new one at Walmart. So hopefully when I can actually leave the house I will go get one. Other then that everything is good I love the fact that I don't have to work any more well at least for the next 7 years.(Ha, Ha) I can finally get my house to where I want it. By the way all my laundry is finished and it is only Friday, how about that. Love ya all Kerriann

Maybe Brian's hiding my remote...hmmm...

I had a drs appt. today and was told to SWIM....we'll see. My ankles are swollen a lot and my right hand stays numb at the tip of my 3rd and 4th finger. She, Dr. Nicholas, said that swimming will help control the swelling. I've also been getting calf cramps at night, not quite charlie horses yet, but aggravating cramps. She said to up my banana and tomato intake and leafy vegetables, plus drink more water. Do the want you to "sail" through pregnancy, I mean every time I'm thirsty and drink, it's water, but if I wanted to drink as much water as they tell me to, I'd need to just attach a straw to my lip with a staple or something and keep a cup at the end of it. Miserable. The baby's head has moved down, for now, she's still got time to move again I guess...but for now she's keeping my stomach low and sitting on my lap. I'm 192 lbs. Can't believe I just typed that. Man have I gained some weight. I outweigh all of you, so nobody can say anything...and it's not just being pregnant - that's a weight gain of 40 lbs. Definitely not all baby...So feel like sufferers now, but in a month I'll be in worse shape than all of you...Somebody needs to talk Dad into building a work-out room for everyone to go to, a Kokinda Gym. You could all - realistically!!!- split the electric bill :) Hey Kerriann - are you ladies going to start walking at each other's houses this summer? You should...you could find a jogging stroller on craigslist - gotta plug my craigslist...Emily, I applaud you - you are working out all on your own and that's great - it's hard to get outside and do stuff, but you do it - go you!
Killer Feet!
Today was a good day. I could've shot myself for what I ate yesterday. I thought I was doing great by not snacking, but when I counted up the calories, fat grams and carbs from all I had eaten, it was way way too much. Today we have done significantly better. We made it out for a walk. We only walked for thirty minutes, but we did speed walk the whole time. =0) Zaidy only made it half way! Poor dog. He he!! Katie you are awesome. I can't believe you walk so much. Delivery should be a breeze. =0) I agree on walking Gabby in the snugli. =0) Thanks. I have a question for all of you. What kind of shoes, support wise and what not, would be good?? The bottom of the front of my feet hurt after every walk. I know it has to be the shoes, but what do you look for in a shoe??

A Dare
See, Kerri joined because she read my comment :) Gotcha! Well - as far as exercise goes, I was out on a 30 minute walk this morning around 8 a.m. and then we walked again, a little bit longer, around 4:45 p.m. Brian was on duty today, so we only walked twice - no nighttime walk, but I walked around the barracks three times with Brian while he did his rounds, the snails could have beaten us though, we weren't in a hurry...
Kerri, you should check craigslist for a treadmill :) I'm sure you could find one easily around the base, all those military wives that are cleaning out! I know everything is going to be great with Ella - she'll be much happier in a few weeks.
I'm sorry Gabby has been sick and you've been under house arrest. I'd say try a walk with the snuggli thing. I ordered a Jeep carrier that works in front or in back, but it doesn't have any shade or rain things, I guess that'll be a day I'll use the stroller.
Well - I'm off to bed, but the boys'll make sure I'm up early for their "morning-poo walk" - tee hee hee....

Yay!!
Yay Kerriann joined! Good luck on the tread mill too!! Well, today we, I mean Gabby and Zaidy, went on a walk today. It was only maybe a quarter of a mile but it was nice. I took Gabby in her stroller and that in turn prompted me to buy a extra shade du hicky thing for her stroller while we were out in town. Zaidy was about dead from the heat so that is what prompted us to cut it short. =0) When we got back I worked in our mini garden until Gabby got tired and hot and so we cut that short. Overall we did about an hour worth of out door activities. Yipee! Later, around 6pm, Gabby went down for a nap (after a lot of crying, she didn't want to lay in her crib but I made her and so she finally conked out when I came up to her and laid my hand on her chest. Such drama! =0)), so I headed out to weed eat with our new electric weed eater. =0) It was a pain though because the cord we borrowed from David and Sonja was only about 15 feet long, so I couldn't get everything I wanted to. =0) So overall we did about a hour and a half of exercise today! Yea! Love ya guys!!! Which do you think would be better, to walk with Gabby in her snugli or in her stroller?? =0)

Sick still!
Well we are still not making it out to exercise. Gabby vomited again last night and then has had three diapers full of diarrhea today. So we stayed home today and so my eating and exercising have suffered. I feel like I have gained 20 lbs. I have been trying to not drink soda, although Bonnie was trying to be sweet yesterday and keep me sane so she brought me a Dr. Pepper. I drank a little last night at dinner and the rest now with lunch. No more though. I hope you guys are having better luck. Katie be careful on your hikes. We don't want you going into labor anytime soon or getting hurt!! L0ve ya guys!!

Getting Started
So I found this blog that a bunch of sisters had set up that was dedicated to journaling their exercise and sometimes eating habits. The most recent post was just one sister talking about what she had done that day as far as exercising with her kids and family. We can do it however we want. I thought it would be cool for us to do something like this so we can support each other in our quest for being healthy(and have fun blogging!)!!! What do you guys think?? I set it up where you guys can post too!!! We can put up anything we want!! Love ya guys! Katie, you are exempt for now, but four weeks after your baby comes, ya better start posting!!! He he!!
