So, you can't really tell, but we are 760 feet up...from the inside of the crater which was about 200 feet above sea level. It was a long trip up the side of the crater and a lot of stairs!

Lovely outdoor activity
We went to Baltimore on Friday and both Clay and I agree that we lost all possible water weight. while walking around the park at the BMX tour on Friday and Saturday. =0) It was fun though. I did weed eat yesterday and I am considering that exercise. =0) We also did a crazy thing yesterday and bought a Wii. We've only played Zelda so far, which Molly I so thought of you. I'll bring it to jville if anyone wants to try it. =0) It's really cool. My eating habits have not been all that great, simply because I made chocolate chip cookies on Monday to give to Diogo, the BMX rider and I kept some for us. Bad idea. I had them for breakfast yesterday and then for a after lunch snack and then a bedtime snack too. I've probably gained ten pounds just from doing that. How is everyone's exercising regimen going or diet, whichever??? Love y'all!

Well.....
About this exercising thing. It stinks that ya can't get away doing it only once or twice a week. I've been trying to watch what I eat, but I do not get outside like I should and therefore I am always bummed about my weight. I guess it doesn't help when your hubby only has to eat right to loose weight. Which we have decided we are both going to do if for anything to help him get off the belly fat. Working at Clayton has made him realize how easy going to school had been. He he!! By the way, anyone want some kittens?? Clay and some other co-workers found two tiny tiny kittens left in a repo that came into the lot today. They are super cute but very malnourished. It seems they have had no food since last Thursday. I brought them some this morning and they ate for close to 10 minutes. I then cleaned them up and stuck them back in the cat carrier at Clayton. They are there now and I guess if nowhere will take them they are headed to Bonnie and Barry's until we find a home for them. Ay!! I would love to keep them, but not in this tiny place. Our house would be smelling like a litter box in two days rather than 4. He he!! Let me know if any of you guys know of anyone that would like them. One is the color of our mommy kitty and the other is black and white. They are super fluffy too. =0) Love y'all!!
It's Molly!
Well, I finally found the e-mail about 5 pages back in my hotmail :) I get so much junk mail in that thing that I dread having to check it! Father's Day was pretty awsome, I hope Dad is doing okay on the road right now...he's been on for about 5 hours now. Okay, I just wanted to say hi...I'm here :) Love ya'll!

Morning Walks
Well, went on a walk this morning with the dogs and with a sister from church and her four kids. That was fun. We just went down to the beach and walked along the shore. There were tons of jellyfish on the shore, man-of-wars too...they're tiny and they can still sting even though they are dead, and it's a painful sting. But the boys had fun on the beach. They have a false sense of confidence with the ocean though, Bing tries to run out into the water, but this isn't a normal beach and it scares me. This beach has an incredible undertow and the shore is all rocks, not soft sand. So they are allowed to play in the pools, but not go swimming. I think tomorrow we will take them to a beach they can swim at, because apparently they want to give it a shot! So it was a nice walk, a lot of talking - and not just me, like it is with Brian :) Anyhow, she and a few other sisters are planning a shower for me, crazy, for next Friday I believe - not sure about that yet, and apparently they've already sent invitations. She told me what they were planning, they're going to put $ together to buy me a swing for the baby. I'm grateful they feel like doing this for me, makes me feel a lot humbled...

Hot Tamale!
I wish we could pack up and go to a pool right now in this heat like you Katie. You are soooo lucky. =0) We have stayed in these past couple of days and unfortunately my exercising has fallen by the way side. I have no desire to do it at all with the heat up so high. I walk out and immediately break a sweat. I know I should be doing some of my videos however Gabby does not like to cooperate if she is awake when I try to do one. I know I have no excuse since I could get up at the crack of dawn and do it, or even late at night. =0) What fun!! I have been eating better though, trying not to indulge in seconds. he he!! They are the best though. This one sister in the ward told us of a great place that you can get a membership for the family really cheap to a pool. Guess how much that membership was?? Not cheap! It was $434 for two adults and two children. I don't think that sounds all that great. Maybe for the rich doctors in town it's great, but not us poor folk. =0) Any advice for getting up and moving, besides thinking of myself getting fatter by the minute? He he! Love y'all!!

Reality
So, it hit me, I'm not eating very well. Every time I go to the store, it seems like I come home with a lot of junk food. I'm eating veggies and fruit, but also eating just as much chocolate and chips. No wonder I've gained as much as I have, and even though I tell myself, "oh well" when I eat the junk, I know I'm going to regret it once I have the baby and don't autmatically fit into my old jeans. What am I going to wear? Maternity clothes for months I guess. I keep imagining that I'll go running and exercise, but in reality - if I'm breastfeeding I don't think I'll have hours to devote to exercise, at least not for quite some time. Great. Maybe I'll be back to normal size by the time we come home in December for a week, that'll be my goal - back to my prepregnancy weight by December. That's realistic right?

Finally
I made it to the pool - FINALLY! I went by myself too! I swam for almost 45 minutes, well I did laps on my back one way and then on my stomach doing the side-stroke (the only one I know) on the way back. I had fun. The pool doesn't open until 1 and I got there right at 1, so it was empty, but by 2 - it was packed with kids. I had to get out because there were so many and I can't just hang out in the deep end - neither can the little kids... At least they don't make me take a deep-end swimming test...I'd probably fail, you have to tread water for two minutes. That may not happen these days. But my ankles really did go down as soon as I got in the pool. Didn't help my wrist and fingers, but my ankles are down! Yay! So I swam, and I'm going to try desperately to make it a daily habit, that will be my outing instead of going to the store...hey, maybe we'll save money!

Day three in the House
Well today is day 3 on trying to keep Ella in the house. So far so good. good thing Emma has been here to keep Julia busy. I think Ella will be able to go out on Monday. She is doing well last night she had tylenol at bed and she actually slept in her bed all night. (first time in a long time) today she has had no tylenol but is eating and drinking very little. She and Emma had some ice-cream at 9:30am (sorry Erin) she is on the couch now whileJulia and Emma play in our blow up pool. As far as exercise goes I rearanged my sewing room and bedroom yesterday and was shot by 9:30pm. (Plus I had Dharian, Brodeigha dn Emma all day) I told John I am making room for the treed mill. I did check craigs list for one but they were all the same price as a new one at Walmart. So hopefully when I can actually leave the house I will go get one. Other then that everything is good I love the fact that I don't have to work any more well at least for the next 7 years.(Ha, Ha) I can finally get my house to where I want it. By the way all my laundry is finished and it is only Friday, how about that. Love ya all Kerriann

Maybe Brian's hiding my remote...hmmm...

I had a drs appt. today and was told to SWIM....we'll see. My ankles are swollen a lot and my right hand stays numb at the tip of my 3rd and 4th finger. She, Dr. Nicholas, said that swimming will help control the swelling. I've also been getting calf cramps at night, not quite charlie horses yet, but aggravating cramps. She said to up my banana and tomato intake and leafy vegetables, plus drink more water. Do the want you to "sail" through pregnancy, I mean every time I'm thirsty and drink, it's water, but if I wanted to drink as much water as they tell me to, I'd need to just attach a straw to my lip with a staple or something and keep a cup at the end of it. Miserable. The baby's head has moved down, for now, she's still got time to move again I guess...but for now she's keeping my stomach low and sitting on my lap. I'm 192 lbs. Can't believe I just typed that. Man have I gained some weight. I outweigh all of you, so nobody can say anything...and it's not just being pregnant - that's a weight gain of 40 lbs. Definitely not all baby...So feel like sufferers now, but in a month I'll be in worse shape than all of you...Somebody needs to talk Dad into building a work-out room for everyone to go to, a Kokinda Gym. You could all - realistically!!!- split the electric bill :) Hey Kerriann - are you ladies going to start walking at each other's houses this summer? You should...you could find a jogging stroller on craigslist - gotta plug my craigslist...Emily, I applaud you - you are working out all on your own and that's great - it's hard to get outside and do stuff, but you do it - go you!
Killer Feet!
Today was a good day. I could've shot myself for what I ate yesterday. I thought I was doing great by not snacking, but when I counted up the calories, fat grams and carbs from all I had eaten, it was way way too much. Today we have done significantly better. We made it out for a walk. We only walked for thirty minutes, but we did speed walk the whole time. =0) Zaidy only made it half way! Poor dog. He he!! Katie you are awesome. I can't believe you walk so much. Delivery should be a breeze. =0) I agree on walking Gabby in the snugli. =0) Thanks. I have a question for all of you. What kind of shoes, support wise and what not, would be good?? The bottom of the front of my feet hurt after every walk. I know it has to be the shoes, but what do you look for in a shoe??

A Dare
See, Kerri joined because she read my comment :) Gotcha! Well - as far as exercise goes, I was out on a 30 minute walk this morning around 8 a.m. and then we walked again, a little bit longer, around 4:45 p.m. Brian was on duty today, so we only walked twice - no nighttime walk, but I walked around the barracks three times with Brian while he did his rounds, the snails could have beaten us though, we weren't in a hurry...
Kerri, you should check craigslist for a treadmill :) I'm sure you could find one easily around the base, all those military wives that are cleaning out! I know everything is going to be great with Ella - she'll be much happier in a few weeks.
I'm sorry Gabby has been sick and you've been under house arrest. I'd say try a walk with the snuggli thing. I ordered a Jeep carrier that works in front or in back, but it doesn't have any shade or rain things, I guess that'll be a day I'll use the stroller.
Well - I'm off to bed, but the boys'll make sure I'm up early for their "morning-poo walk" - tee hee hee....

Yay!!
Yay Kerriann joined! Good luck on the tread mill too!! Well, today we, I mean Gabby and Zaidy, went on a walk today. It was only maybe a quarter of a mile but it was nice. I took Gabby in her stroller and that in turn prompted me to buy a extra shade du hicky thing for her stroller while we were out in town. Zaidy was about dead from the heat so that is what prompted us to cut it short. =0) When we got back I worked in our mini garden until Gabby got tired and hot and so we cut that short. Overall we did about an hour worth of out door activities. Yipee! Later, around 6pm, Gabby went down for a nap (after a lot of crying, she didn't want to lay in her crib but I made her and so she finally conked out when I came up to her and laid my hand on her chest. Such drama! =0)), so I headed out to weed eat with our new electric weed eater. =0) It was a pain though because the cord we borrowed from David and Sonja was only about 15 feet long, so I couldn't get everything I wanted to. =0) So overall we did about a hour and a half of exercise today! Yea! Love ya guys!!! Which do you think would be better, to walk with Gabby in her snugli or in her stroller?? =0)

Hey sorry to hear about Gabby it must realy stink, no pun intended. Well Ella goes in for her surgery tomorrow were a little nervous but are assured by all that she should be fine. She received a blessing form her dad and pop tonight. So I am confident all will go well now. Today was my last day of work Yeh ME! As far as exercise goes I am buying a tread mill this week very excited. As far as eating habits oh there is always tomorrow love ya guys. Kerriann

Sick still!
Well we are still not making it out to exercise. Gabby vomited again last night and then has had three diapers full of diarrhea today. So we stayed home today and so my eating and exercising have suffered. I feel like I have gained 20 lbs. I have been trying to not drink soda, although Bonnie was trying to be sweet yesterday and keep me sane so she brought me a Dr. Pepper. I drank a little last night at dinner and the rest now with lunch. No more though. I hope you guys are having better luck. Katie be careful on your hikes. We don't want you going into labor anytime soon or getting hurt!! L0ve ya guys!!
