I know that is kind of silly, however I am feeling so great. I pushed myself tonight, finally, and ran a full three laps, without stopping in between. =0) I ended up letting Zaidy just jog behind, instead of trying to make her keep up. She did do good, and actually, did not seem to be all that out of breath by the time we got done. I think I'm working her up to be able to go with me more than a mile. yay! I feel so good, a little tired, however still really good. I'm so glad I just made myself do it. I think I might start getting up in the morning, early, so I can run farther without taking Zaidy out for such a long go. I think she just needs a walk. hee hee! Hope y'all are doing great at your healthy ventures.

So...
I've been bad about not posting, only because I have not been quite as active as I should be. Right after that last post, I left to go to Alabama with Bonnie, as y'all know, and while I was gone, I swam, worked my abs on a cool machine, jumped on a trampoline and then swam a bit more. I didn't run like I had thought of doing, since Aunt Alta actually has a treadmill, so I tried to make up for it by swimming. Which actually worked out fine, I didn't gain a pound while I was gone. However, since being home, I have slacked on the running, walking and even eating right. I started eating better again this past Monday, jogged that night, and then yesterday ate good again, but didn't make it out running. My legs were so soar from the previous night, and not having used them all that much. Today, I did take Zaidy out again and we jogged. I didn't do a full mile, just because I am so soar still! =0) I feel better though, thankfully!! I'm hoping y'all are doing great with your endeavors in working out and eating healthy!! =0)

Here I go again! =0)
Well, ViQuest hasn't happened yet, but that has been more because of timing. =0) I'm hoping soon though. Next week we leave for Alabama, so my jogging may come to a halt for a bit. I'm hoping to replace it with swimming in a swimming pool. =0) Last night I went went jogging again with Zaidy. We walked the first lap, ran the 2nd, walked the 3rd and then I had to put Zaidy up. In the middle of the 3rd lap some lady was shouting at me from behind (I had my nano with me, so I was listening to music) to stop because she wanted to know if I had any caster oil for her pregnant friend. Weird. I told her I didn't and that I had heard that that doesn't actually work. =0) To top it all off she had a little irish terrier that was driving Zaidy crazy. So needless to say, Zaidy was put up and I jogged two more laps without stopping. So I did a whole mile for the first time since before getting pregnant. YAYAYAYAYAY!!! It was rough. It actually was inspiration to put Zaidy up because, as I was ending that first lap of jogging after having put her in the house, Phil and his dog, Shade, who Zaidy hates, came walking around the corner. Whew, missed a fight there!! =0) It was a great run and I'm unfortunately feelin' it right now. I'm so tired, not soar, but tired. YAY!!!
warm-up: 7 minute walk
2nd lap: 5 minute jog
3rd lap: 7 minute walk
4th lap:5 minute jog
5th lap: 7 minute jog (I slowed down =0))
cool down: 2 minute walk, 5 minute sweeping porch
total distance: 1.5 mile

Going the Distance!! =0)
Tonight was a interesting night. =0) I haven't jogged since my last post. Too much has been happening that every night seemed to come and go and I didn't even think about jogging. Well, tonight, I did it. I had to change my route though because in our park, as I was walking a warm-up lap, I noticed there were a lot of guys outside hanging out at one of the houses on my route. So I decided to take to the walking route Dianne and I do. That means we have to run along the highway to get to the neighborhood we go through. Zaidy actually did really well. All she did that was a bit of a pain, was pee on the curb and all over her foot. Yuck!! I don't think I ran the distance I have been working up to, but that is okay. I at least did a good workout! I feel fabulous too!! =0)
warm-up: 5 minute walk
work-out: 17 minute jog
distance: 3/4 mile
cool-down: 8 minute walk
work-out: 17 minute jog
distance: 3/4 mile
cool-down: 8 minute walk

Yeeee-haaawwww - I love jogging!!
So tonight was a interesting night. I had went walking earlier in the day with Dianne and the girls and we walked for a solid 45 minutes and it felt great. I've been trying to take Zaidy on walks every night and actually jog with her. So far, I've only jogged for a distance of maybe a little under half a mile. Well, today I decided to just push it. I'm tired of thinking every day how much I need to jog more and actually get back up to a mile and then start pushing it farther, since truthfully I have never actually ran more than a mile for my whole exercise history. I think I got close to 2 or 3 when I ran with Dad back when I had just gotten out of high school, but never more. I love reading my friends blogs who are actual running fanatics and run marathons, and I've always thought that'd be awesome to do. I loved looking at pictures of Wynne, when she would compete too. Any hoot, tonight I decided I'm not getting anywhere by being stagnent so I pushed it to just under a mile and let me tell you I feel awesome. I wasn't fatigued, I wasn't burning too much, I wasn't dying of breath and I'm pretty sure I could've kept going, but unfortunately, Zaidy could not. She started trailing behind me after lap two and then she just trailed behind me by a foot. It was sad to quit, but I really do not like punishing the dog. Haha!! I love it and hope that I can keep it up!! How are you guys doing??? =0)

Thank you!
I seriously love your comments Katie and Shannon. Thank you so much for the support!! I have gotten my run up to a little over 1/2 a mile, which is awesome! I love how I feel afterward. I haven't lost anymore weight, but thankfully I haven't gained any of what I've lost back, which is a real accomplishment. Hahaha!! I left my running shoes in Jville this past weekend so I pulled out my little green kangaroos last night to run. I unfortunately must report they are definitely only for show. I have blisters on the back of both ankles, and they are deep too. Ay!! Thankfully, this morning when I was getting ready for my walk I decided to look for my tennis shoes that I wore while I was pregnant, and thankfully I still had them. Yay!! So today I wore those and they felt so much better, even though I still had the bloomin' blisters to worry about. =0) If anything, the weight may not come off, but at least I'll build my strength back up so that whenever I do get pregnant, I'll be able to hopefully carry without any extra problems besides the extra weight. Hope you guys are doing great and having luck with your health!! =0) Love y'all!!

I love to Run!
Even though it is so difficult while I'm actually doing it, I still love to run. I feel so much better afterward and I love how I feel the next day. I weighed myself this morning, after having not done so in a week, and I had actually lost another pound, now actually putting my weight loss at 11 pounds. I'm so excited, and truthfully, it makes me just feel like I'm a bit closer to having another baby!!! =0) If I had just been on the ball 17 months ago, I would not have to be stressing over any of this now, especially when we are so ready to expand the family!! =0) I hope y'all are having so lots of success!! Love y'all!
