Morning Walks
Well, went on a walk this morning with the dogs and with a sister from church and her four kids. That was fun. We just went down to the beach and walked along the shore. There were tons of jellyfish on the shore, man-of-wars too...they're tiny and they can still sting even though they are dead, and it's a painful sting. But the boys had fun on the beach. They have a false sense of confidence with the ocean though, Bing tries to run out into the water, but this isn't a normal beach and it scares me. This beach has an incredible undertow and the shore is all rocks, not soft sand. So they are allowed to play in the pools, but not go swimming. I think tomorrow we will take them to a beach they can swim at, because apparently they want to give it a shot! So it was a nice walk, a lot of talking - and not just me, like it is with Brian :) Anyhow, she and a few other sisters are planning a shower for me, crazy, for next Friday I believe - not sure about that yet, and apparently they've already sent invitations. She told me what they were planning, they're going to put $ together to buy me a swing for the baby. I'm grateful they feel like doing this for me, makes me feel a lot humbled...

Hot Tamale!
I wish we could pack up and go to a pool right now in this heat like you Katie. You are soooo lucky. =0) We have stayed in these past couple of days and unfortunately my exercising has fallen by the way side. I have no desire to do it at all with the heat up so high. I walk out and immediately break a sweat. I know I should be doing some of my videos however Gabby does not like to cooperate if she is awake when I try to do one. I know I have no excuse since I could get up at the crack of dawn and do it, or even late at night. =0) What fun!! I have been eating better though, trying not to indulge in seconds. he he!! They are the best though. This one sister in the ward told us of a great place that you can get a membership for the family really cheap to a pool. Guess how much that membership was?? Not cheap! It was $434 for two adults and two children. I don't think that sounds all that great. Maybe for the rich doctors in town it's great, but not us poor folk. =0) Any advice for getting up and moving, besides thinking of myself getting fatter by the minute? He he! Love y'all!!

Reality
So, it hit me, I'm not eating very well. Every time I go to the store, it seems like I come home with a lot of junk food. I'm eating veggies and fruit, but also eating just as much chocolate and chips. No wonder I've gained as much as I have, and even though I tell myself, "oh well" when I eat the junk, I know I'm going to regret it once I have the baby and don't autmatically fit into my old jeans. What am I going to wear? Maternity clothes for months I guess. I keep imagining that I'll go running and exercise, but in reality - if I'm breastfeeding I don't think I'll have hours to devote to exercise, at least not for quite some time. Great. Maybe I'll be back to normal size by the time we come home in December for a week, that'll be my goal - back to my prepregnancy weight by December. That's realistic right?

Finally
I made it to the pool - FINALLY! I went by myself too! I swam for almost 45 minutes, well I did laps on my back one way and then on my stomach doing the side-stroke (the only one I know) on the way back. I had fun. The pool doesn't open until 1 and I got there right at 1, so it was empty, but by 2 - it was packed with kids. I had to get out because there were so many and I can't just hang out in the deep end - neither can the little kids... At least they don't make me take a deep-end swimming test...I'd probably fail, you have to tread water for two minutes. That may not happen these days. But my ankles really did go down as soon as I got in the pool. Didn't help my wrist and fingers, but my ankles are down! Yay! So I swam, and I'm going to try desperately to make it a daily habit, that will be my outing instead of going to the store...hey, maybe we'll save money!

Day three in the House
Well today is day 3 on trying to keep Ella in the house. So far so good. good thing Emma has been here to keep Julia busy. I think Ella will be able to go out on Monday. She is doing well last night she had tylenol at bed and she actually slept in her bed all night. (first time in a long time) today she has had no tylenol but is eating and drinking very little. She and Emma had some ice-cream at 9:30am (sorry Erin) she is on the couch now whileJulia and Emma play in our blow up pool. As far as exercise goes I rearanged my sewing room and bedroom yesterday and was shot by 9:30pm. (Plus I had Dharian, Brodeigha dn Emma all day) I told John I am making room for the treed mill. I did check craigs list for one but they were all the same price as a new one at Walmart. So hopefully when I can actually leave the house I will go get one. Other then that everything is good I love the fact that I don't have to work any more well at least for the next 7 years.(Ha, Ha) I can finally get my house to where I want it. By the way all my laundry is finished and it is only Friday, how about that. Love ya all Kerriann
