Maybe Brian's hiding my remote...hmmm...

I had a drs appt. today and was told to SWIM....we'll see. My ankles are swollen a lot and my right hand stays numb at the tip of my 3rd and 4th finger. She, Dr. Nicholas, said that swimming will help control the swelling. I've also been getting calf cramps at night, not quite charlie horses yet, but aggravating cramps. She said to up my banana and tomato intake and leafy vegetables, plus drink more water. Do the want you to "sail" through pregnancy, I mean every time I'm thirsty and drink, it's water, but if I wanted to drink as much water as they tell me to, I'd need to just attach a straw to my lip with a staple or something and keep a cup at the end of it. Miserable. The baby's head has moved down, for now, she's still got time to move again I guess...but for now she's keeping my stomach low and sitting on my lap. I'm 192 lbs. Can't believe I just typed that. Man have I gained some weight. I outweigh all of you, so nobody can say anything...and it's not just being pregnant - that's a weight gain of 40 lbs. Definitely not all baby...So feel like sufferers now, but in a month I'll be in worse shape than all of you...Somebody needs to talk Dad into building a work-out room for everyone to go to, a Kokinda Gym. You could all - realistically!!!- split the electric bill :) Hey Kerriann - are you ladies going to start walking at each other's houses this summer? You should...you could find a jogging stroller on craigslist - gotta plug my craigslist...Emily, I applaud you - you are working out all on your own and that's great - it's hard to get outside and do stuff, but you do it - go you!

Killer Feet!

Today was a good day. I could've shot myself for what I ate yesterday. I thought I was doing great by not snacking, but when I counted up the calories, fat grams and carbs from all I had eaten, it was way way too much. Today we have done significantly better. We made it out for a walk. We only walked for thirty minutes, but we did speed walk the whole time. =0) Zaidy only made it half way! Poor dog. He he!! Katie you are awesome. I can't believe you walk so much. Delivery should be a breeze. =0) I agree on walking Gabby in the snugli. =0) Thanks. I have a question for all of you. What kind of shoes, support wise and what not, would be good?? The bottom of the front of my feet hurt after every walk. I know it has to be the shoes, but what do you look for in a shoe??

Gotta love this!

A Dare

See, Kerri joined because she read my comment :) Gotcha! Well - as far as exercise goes, I was out on a 30 minute walk this morning around 8 a.m. and then we walked again, a little bit longer, around 4:45 p.m. Brian was on duty today, so we only walked twice - no nighttime walk, but I walked around the barracks three times with Brian while he did his rounds, the snails could have beaten us though, we weren't in a hurry...
Kerri, you should check craigslist for a treadmill :) I'm sure you could find one easily around the base, all those military wives that are cleaning out! I know everything is going to be great with Ella - she'll be much happier in a few weeks.
I'm sorry Gabby has been sick and you've been under house arrest. I'd say try a walk with the snuggli thing. I ordered a Jeep carrier that works in front or in back, but it doesn't have any shade or rain things, I guess that'll be a day I'll use the stroller.
Well - I'm off to bed, but the boys'll make sure I'm up early for their "morning-poo walk" - tee hee hee....

Yay!!

Yay Kerriann joined! Good luck on the tread mill too!! Well, today we, I mean Gabby and Zaidy, went on a walk today. It was only maybe a quarter of a mile but it was nice. I took Gabby in her stroller and that in turn prompted me to buy a extra shade du hicky thing for her stroller while we were out in town. Zaidy was about dead from the heat so that is what prompted us to cut it short. =0) When we got back I worked in our mini garden until Gabby got tired and hot and so we cut that short. Overall we did about an hour worth of out door activities. Yipee! Later, around 6pm, Gabby went down for a nap (after a lot of crying, she didn't want to lay in her crib but I made her and so she finally conked out when I came up to her and laid my hand on her chest. Such drama! =0)), so I headed out to weed eat with our new electric weed eater. =0) It was a pain though because the cord we borrowed from David and Sonja was only about 15 feet long, so I couldn't get everything I wanted to. =0) So overall we did about a hour and a half of exercise today! Yea! Love ya guys!!! Which do you think would be better, to walk with Gabby in her snugli or in her stroller?? =0)

Sick still!

Well we are still not making it out to exercise. Gabby vomited again last night and then has had three diapers full of diarrhea today. So we stayed home today and so my eating and exercising have suffered. I feel like I have gained 20 lbs. I have been trying to not drink soda, although Bonnie was trying to be sweet yesterday and keep me sane so she brought me a Dr. Pepper. I drank a little last night at dinner and the rest now with lunch. No more though. I hope you guys are having better luck. Katie be careful on your hikes. We don't want you going into labor anytime soon or getting hurt!! L0ve ya guys!!
